  • While living in Scotland, her parents took her to an anti-nuclear and anti-Thatcher protest when she was a kid. Every protestor chanted a particular slogan while marching against the Tory government. Liz also copied them and chanted the slogan in a Scottish accent.   • In 2011, she founded a group titled Free Enterprise Group with the help of more than 40 other Conservative MPs. She was the co-author of the book “After the Coalition” in September 2011 with four other members of the Free Enterprise Group. Liz wrote another book titled “Britannia Unchained,” with the same four members of the group, published in 2012.
